Gregorian Calendar:
The oldest historical evidence indicate that the first solar calendar was created in ancient Egypt in the year 4236 BC, which is nothing strange because the need for solar year they feel especially farmers, which in Egypt was very necessary, the year also was determined by the annual flooding of the Nile
To build used a circle of 360 degrees, which was divided into 12 parts of 30 degrees each one that also build 5 and obtained the equivalent of 365 days, which is the duration of a solar year on our planet. In total divided with periods of 28, 29, 30 and 31 and this was done the calendar we use today, that hides within it a complete cycle of 28 days.
The Gregorian calendar is a calendar originated in Europe, currently used officially in most countries. So called because its promoter Pope Gregory XIII in 1582 came to replace the Julian calendar used since Julius Caesar instituted in 45 BC
The problem of the origin of our era was resolved with the creation of the Gregorian calendar: if It states that the Christian era began 1582 years before its creation and all countries respect this idea ended any discussion; and themes of the birth of Christ or what Dionysius Exiguus established cease to matter (at least from the standpoint of measuring time.) The final issue was the adoption of the calendar and, as we have seen, every country in the world have been adopting over time.
Despite having been originated over 5000 years ago, we saw, is the same calendar used by most of humanity from that time, suffered innumerable changes did not alter the essence of the concept, which was a division of space through the use of 360-degree circle.
