Hello everyone.
theme: deep sky objects. M 14 ..

The continued today with the report of Objects Messier Catalog: 13 110.
M 14 is the next object I observed visually for this program. Behold
data.

Name of observer: Salvador Aguirre
Observation date: 2010 10 10 TU.
observation site: 110 45 38 O, 29 13 03 N

Instrumentation: Telescope reflector / 10 inch Dobsonian. F: 4.7
Magnification: 48x, 25 mm
Seeing Eye: 4
(seen with binoculars: Yes, 10x50)

Object: M14.

object details:
This type globular star cluster of small size and bright is located on the east side of Ophiuchus.
this in a country with few bright stars in the margin of the Milky Way, which makes its location a bit by "star hopping.
is located at 7 degrees south and 1.5 degrees west of Beta Ophiuchi and 5 degrees north of Mu Ophiuchi. It is easy to see with binoculars 11x80, and more difficult with smaller binos.
this cluster has a large nucleus not condensed but easy to solve.
M14 was discovered by Charles Messier in 1764. Alias \u200b\u200b

size 7.6 12.0 min. arc (here referred to the angular size in arcminutes ¡¡)..
diameter: 80 light years.
